Quest

Quest

I find myself…

Thoughtful
…wondering about life
Crying
…striving for truth
Loving
…missing God
Alone
…struggling to be understood
Lost
…different than others
Surprised
…clueless about time
Expressive
…naïve and innocent
Faithful
…living like a child
Committed
…ready to die
Determined
…in quest of myself

Will I find myself?

  1. Yes tuttysan, you’re right. I know I will be found in me. My quest too is inside of me, not somewhere out there. These were random thoughts…a paradox we all experience, even the most evolved amongst us, from time to time. I am happy to meet you 🙂

  2. My mind sees shooting rays of brilliant colors as I’ve read Quest. What blazed in my synapses is “Faithful, living like a child”. I guess, to protect oneself from the excesses of adulthood, one must remain a virtual child, and then, with luck, find real growth as a person, afterwhich, self-identity. Cheers.

  3. So true, Tom. Spiritual (read self) growth is not a factor of adulthood. My childhood lives in me…I often turn to my childlike innocence when I am deeply troubled. I am happier for that.
