Love and Fear

I met love and simply turned it away
I met fear and embraced it this way
Love followed me in spite of my nay
But fear clutched me like it’s gone astray

Do I behave masochistic with life?
As if I want all the pain and strife
Now every moment cuts like a knife
My eyes are sullen and tears are rife

I wish whatever this is, ends soon
For it’s like a never-ending monsoon
But before I go, I ask for one boon
If she asks for it, give her the moon!
